Hello, I’m Dagmar!
I was born and raised in Slovakia and moved to the U.S. at 19 to chase the American dream.
For as long as I can remember, I struggled with my weight. I was the “chubby kid” in a culture where being thin wasn’t just admired, it was expected. That pressure shaped how I saw myself and led me down a path of disordered eating, body image struggles, and a constant battle with my body, both mentally and physically.
After having my second son, I became a personal trainer, thinking I’d finally learn the real formula for weight loss and health. But instead of finding answers, I found myself deeper in dysfunction: overtraining, undereating, high stress, and running on empty, especially during a difficult period in my life.
Eventually, my body pushed back.
I developed hormone imbalances, gut issues, chronic inflammation, poor recovery, and weight loss resistance. I was doing everything “right” on paper, yet nothing was working.
That was my turning point.
I realized that health isn’t just about workouts and calories, it’s about how your body is functioning beneath the surface. I needed a different approach, so I sought out a functional health coach. That experience completely changed the way I understood the body.
It led me to enroll in Metabolic Mentor University, where I became a certified Functional Health Coach and learned how to address root causes, not just symptoms.
Since 2022, I’ve been coaching others through that same lens. I help clients who feel stuck despite doing all the “right things”struggling with weight loss resistance, hormone imbalances, gut issues, low energy, and burnout.
My approach is centered around restoring function first supporting the body through nutrition, lifestyle, stress regulation, and targeted interventions so it can do what it’s designed to do: heal.
I now use my 4F™ process: Flush, Feed, Function, and Fast to guide clients step by step out of survival mode and back into balance.
I used to believe the answer was to push harder.
Now I know it’s about doing the right things, in the right order, for your body.
My passion is helping people slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and finally experience real, sustainable results without burnout, restriction, or extremes.
Because true transformation doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from supporting your body so it can do more for you.
Meet Dagmar
Hi, I’m Dagmar!
I was born and raised in Slovakia and moved to the U.S. at 19 to chase the American dream.
I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I was the chubby kid in a culture where being thin wasn't just admired—it was expected. That pressure led me down a hard road: disordered eating, body image issues, and a lifelong battle with my body—mentally and physically.
After having my second son, I decided to become a personal trainer. I thought I’d finally learn the real secret to losing weight and getting healthy. But it didn’t go as planned.
I ended up stuck in a cycle of overtraining and undereating, especially during a difficult divorce. My body was completely out of balance—hormones, digestion, everything. I became weight-loss resistant. And there I was, a fitness pro who couldn’t fix her own health. That was my wake-up call.
I realized I needed support beyond just workouts and meal plans, so I found a functional health coach—and it changed everything. It opened my eyes to how much I didn’t know and how much I wanted to learn. That’s when I enrolled in Metabolic Mentor University and began my own journey into functional health. Which i am a certified functional health coach!
Since 2022, I’ve been coaching others the way I wish someone had coached me—through a lens of healing, not hustling. Alongside personal training and coaching at Orangetheory, I now help people who feel stuck, frustrated, and burned out by the same cycles I went through.
My passion is helping people slow down, reconnect with their bodies, and actually heal. I used to live by the motto, “Why walk if I can run and get there faster?” But that mindset burned me out. Eventually, my body made the decision for me: it forced me to slow down. And that’s where the real transformation started.
